The Sea Dragon is an aggressive sub-species of dragon that is a closer species to sea serpents than any other dragon.
Appearance[]
Like almost every other dragon, this dragon is quadrupedal with wings as its front two limbs. The Sea Dragon has a mohawk-like fin on its head, fins on its lower legs, and a vertical tail fin. It comes in Jade, Cobalt, Purple, and Black. Its wings act as fins and the skin membrane between the fingers is stiff, aiding in the swift movement of this terror of the seas. It also has the largest claws in proportion to its body of any dragon.
Spawning[]
Sea dragons live in the sea at stage 1-3 and like the cold oceans and iceberg biomes. If spawned in an iceberg, their nest is a flat iceberg decorated with cobalt nugget piles and chests that can have jades. If spawned in an open sea, their nests rest on gravel pillars that go 2 blocks under the surface, and if spawned at the shore, their nests are made of sand with sandstone structures. Stage 4+ sea dragons can be found in large air bubbles under the sea floor
Drops[]
The loot from any dragon generally depends on the stage of the dragon. All dragons always drop Dragon Bones and a Dragon Skull, but can drop Dragon Flesh, a Dragon Heart, and scales. You can also get dragon Blood by right-clicking a dead dragon with an empty bottle, but it'll reduce the amount of flesh and scales that the Sea Dragon drops. The most important drop from a dragon is a Dragon egg, which can be harvested from a dead female stage 4 or 5 dragon. It may occasionally drop 2 eggs.
Behavior[]
This dragon is aggressive, attacking everything other than other sea dragons and ice dragons, for some reason. Probably because they're closely related? Probably. The mohawk fin is usually collapsed a bit, at about a 55 degree angle. When hunting, the mohawk opens up to 112 degrees, but as a mating dance, the males walk in circles and open their mohawk for 1 1/2 minutes, then take off into larger circles about 30 blocks over the mate for 45 seconds. If the female likes the dance, she roars and they breed. The sea serpent's favorite meal is the sea serpent, but is also enjoys dolphins and turtles. It's pretty slow once on land and can't fly very well.
Abilities[]
Sea Dragons live in the ocean, so they have water-based attacks.
- Roar - The dragon makes a loud bellowing roar.
- Super Roar - The dragon does a terrifying roar that inflicts everything that hears it with weakness 2 if the dragon is stage 4+
- Bite - The dragon just bites the target.
- Wing Slice - The dragon starts up by crossing its wings in front of it and pulling them to the side, doing the same amount of damage as a bite, but has a wider range. It also breaks weak blocks like planks, leaves, and sand within range.
- Boost - The dragon uses its tail and 'mohawk fin' to boost its speed by +20% and ambush the target.
- Sky Leap - The dragon uses boost straight up, launching it up to 50 blocks above the water's surface so it can either nab something from the sky, or do massive damage to an un-suspecting terrestrial prey.
- Water Stream - The dragon launches a stream of concentrated boiling water at the prey.
- Drowning Bite - The dragon bites the prey head-first and sucks out its air in 2 seconds and lets them drown, while not letting go unless 40 damage is done to the dragon. Only used by stage 3+ dragons.
Hatching[]
Wild Sea Dragons can't be tamed, so they must be hatched into a tamed dragon. To start the hatching process, you must place a sea dragon egg on a prismarine block underwater.
Breeding[]
In order to breed sea dragons, you need to feed an Aquatic Lily Mixture to 2 stage 4+ sea dragons; one male, and the other one female. They go to the closest clear area on land and the male does a mating dance. After the female mates, it digs a hole underwater and lays the egg.

Sea Dragonsteel[]
to make sea dragonsteel, you need to build a sea dragonforge underwater and put a stage 3+ sea dragon next to it. The dragon will automatically start blasting it with dragon water as long as there are at least 1 iron ingot and 1 bottle of sea dragon blood. The dragonsteel armor is like upgraded sea serpent armor, because one piece gives water breathing, and gives you strength underwater dependant on the amount of sea dragonsteel armor you wear. You also gain no mining decrease underwater with one piece of armor.
Cobalt[]
This beautiful ore can be mined with iron+ tier pickaxes and is diamond-tier as far as tool damage and speed goes. The total protection from the whole cobalt armor set is 24 points and all the cobalt stuff has 768 durability a piece.
Dragonsteel Trident[]
This is an upgrade to the sea serpent trident. It does 26 damage and has 8,000 durability. Crafted from 2 wither bones, 1 block of Sea Dragon scales, and 2 ingots of sea dragonsteel.
