Sapphires are rare minerals used in crafting. They are found in Ice Dragon Caves, both as ores and in chests. They can also be found in chests in Ice Dragon Roosts.

Mining[]
Sapphire ore drops one sapphire when mined using a wooden or better pickaxe. If the pickaxe is enchanted with Fortune, it may drop an extra sapphire per level of Fortune, up to a maximum of 4 sapphires with Fortune III. If the ore is mined using a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch, it drops itself instead of a sapphire.
Crafting[]
Sapphires are crafted with Sapphire Block (Shapeless Recipe).
Sapphires can be used to craft Ice Dragon Summoning Crystal or Sapphire Block.
Smelting[]
You can get sapphires by smelting Sapphire Ore. Bonus: 0.35 XP. It takes 10 seconds.
Blasting[]
You can get sapphires by blasting Sapphire Ore. Bonus: 0.35 XP. It takes 5 seconds.
Natural generation[]
They are found in Ice Dragon Caves, in form of ore all around the cave or in chest, but also in chests of Ice Dragon Roosts.
